About

Development of Island Teens

Founded in 1992, DOIT is devoted to the improvement of programs and activities for Vashon Island youth. DOIT acts as a catalyst in response to need; provides funding where needed: educates the community on the needs or youth and advocates on behalf of youth and youth programs.

DOIT writes proposals and provides grant writing assistance to youth serving organizations. Where needed, DOIT acts as a fiscal receiver for contributions to island teen programs.

Purpose

Empower young people - making them stronger as individuals and as a group.

Provide resources and information - to encourage youth development.

Recognize innovation and contributions to the community.
